[Thoery Build] Nearly Invincible Monk
Playing around with skill sets for a Mo/E in RA and came across spell shield. This made me curious as to the possibility of making an invincible monk in PVE.
So far I've come up with the skillset:
Divine: 16
Earth: 10
Spell Shield
Blessed Aura
Prot Spirit
Divine Spirit
Glyph of Renewl (to fuel divine favor)
Armor of Earth/Kinetic Armor
_blank
_blank
Spell Shield in conjunction with Blessed Aura (1.37) and a enchant staff (1.2) gives it a duration of 34.5s. This means that there is a 4.5s time frame to recast the spell.
Divine Favor with Glyph of Renewl means that you can continuously spam spells to keep the effect of Spell Shield up.
Armor of Earth/Kinetic Armor and Prot Spirit to reduce damage taken from normal attacks.
Now my question is is there a way to counter AOE spells other then walking out of them and is glyph the weak point because it isn't covered by spell shield? It would also be helpful on suggestions for the last 2 skill slots.

So the idea is to always be spamming 1 energy spells so that you can't be the target of spells yourself. No way of dealing damage, so I presume it's for a duo (tank + damage dealer).
And the earth magic to protect you from warriors/rangers, and also the constant casting should keep kinetic armour up as well.

Yes I meant divine spirit, and from the sound of it, it's been done before? Can somebody link me if it has?

Is this 55hp or 605 Hp?
There is no point in haveing armor buffs in a 55hp build as they don't reduce damage at all.
I'm not really sure what build you have here. Its lacking spells needed to be 55hp or 605 hp. Give some more information about it.

Dummey, check what your skills are named, check your spelling, check your attributes, everything etc. BEFORE you post it. Now people will only complain because they're confused!

It wouldn't be neither 55hp nor 605hp. Using just the hp you normally would have after putting in runes. The idea is to reduce normal attacks to minimal damage while using prot spirit to prevent attack skills from doing too much damage. So in a way I guess Invincible is not the correct term for it, so much as a heavy duty tank would be.
beltran13579: This was another issue I was thinking about. If the target of a spell becomes an invalid target during the duration of the cast, does the spell therfore not cast, or would the target of the spell have to be casting something at the instant the the spell that targets him goes off?
